Pastor William E Randolph, Jr

Pastor William E. Randolph, Jr. has made it his life’s mission to equip, empower, and encourage people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. For the past 13 years, Dr. Randolph has served as the visionary senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Yellow Springs.


Dr. Randolph is a committed community activist, having served on the Justice System Task Force (which he helped found), the Reparations Committee, and as a member of the 365 Project. He also served on the search committee for the current police chief and is a member of the Martin Luther King Planning Committee. Currently, he serves as a chaplain for the Yellow Springs Police Department.


In 2021, Dr. Randolph was named the 48th Moderator for the Western Union Baptist District Association. He is a member of the Ohio Baptist District Association and the Southern Baptist Convention. He is also a lecturer for Pastors Legacy Ministry and a visiting professor at St. Peter’s School of Theology in Dayton, OH.


Dr. Randolph is a sought-after preacher, teacher, and lecturer, having been blessed to share his gifts worldwide, conducting revivals in China and the Philippines.


A firm believer that a call to preach is “a call to preparation,” Dr. Randolph studied at the Golden Gate Theology Seminary (now known as Gateway Seminary).


In 2019, Dr. Randolph received an honorary doctorate degree from the Zion Hill Baptist Theological Institute in Dayton, OH.


Dr. Randolph is married to his college sweetheart, Florence Randolph, and they are the proud parents of five adult children, sixteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
